- "Kenny's organizational, administrative, and communication skills are unparalleled. I came to realize this during a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. This event had the dubious task of raising money almost one month after September 11, 2001. Mr. Shepard rallied our celebrities, performers, and my company and helped to make an impossible event, possible and profitable. He has been a performer, writer, composer, director, choreographer and producer: many hats worn effectively. Given the opportunity to work with Kenny again would be something our organization would pounce upon!"
~~ Maurice Brandon Curry,
American Film and Stage
- "I have had the awesome privilege of working with Carol Worcel on my tours, watching her bring to life wonderful songs and stories. Carol not only has enormous talent, but a heart to match it. She truly is one of the most consummate performers and artists I have had the privilege of working with. And she is now one of the dearest people I have in my personal life as well."
~~ Sandi Patty
Worcel Shepard Productions opened NBC's Circle of Lights in downtown Indianapolis to a live crowd of over 100,000 featuring their own Indy Blues. The Indy Blues, comprised of current and former NBA Pacemates and NFL Colts cheerleaders performed beneath the Soldiers and Sailors Monument as it transformed into "the world's tallest Christmas tree." The celebration also featured Daniel Rodriguez, know after September 11th as New York City’s "Singing Policeman," as well as Sandi Patty, and Santa and Mrs. Claus.
- "Tens of thousands of spectators, some shivering in the cold, gasped and cheered as they watched Monument Circle take on a holiday glow. Dolled up in blue leotards with faux fur trim, Indianapolis’ version of the Rockettes ~~ just a little sassier, opened the 42nd annual Circle of Lights."
